Hi, I’m Mel 👋
I found photography helped me slow my overthinking mind, and has helped me find confidence in myself, overcome anxious thoughts and see the beauty in everyday, mundane things we often overlook.
I am now 60, and I share what worked for me to other women find calm, ease, and strength in body and mind — not by pushing harder, but by moving and living more mindfully with awareness and kindness towards ourselves.
Photography has been a favourite way to slow down my busy headspace, notice beauty in the ordinary stuff and feel present in the moment.
That’s why I created Calm in the Frame —
to give you a gentle, creative tool you can
use anytime life feels stressful, overwhelming and frustrating, but also to begin a community of like minded women who find this fast paced life too much sometimes.
An online community just for women, that is away from social media distractions, a private space to connect, grab a couple of my gently calming free audios, a mindful photo walk checklist, to share photos and ask questions, to unwind, slow down, know that its not just you!
